Shakespeare Foundry produces steel alloy castings up to 500kgs to all international standards. The flexible approach to scheduling allows, in the case of a customer break down, the introduction of short lead time runs without affecting planned production runs. The aim is to satisfy every eventuality faced by customers.
Manufacture
Castings are produced in chemically bonded boxless sand moulds. The resin binders ensure rigid high quality moulds, giving excellent surface finish and faithful reproduction of the pattern dimensions.
The process is very carefully controlled and conformity to specification is maintained with the use of a spectrometer prior to pouring of each melt.
